WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT?
For achieving improved overall fitness, these five changeable elements are all necessary to include in your exercise program and should be measured over time. Focusing on select components will prevent an individual from becoming truly fit. Your perception of being “fit” and priorities may change as you learn to incorporate a balanced exercise routine into your life.
FLOW
Flexibility is super important for long term health and mobility. To improve your ability to lengthen your muscles and to move a joint through a full range of motion, you must stretch regularly and take time to recover after a workout. Stack House Studios encourages completion of a full warm up and cool down to release tension, alleviate stiffness, and prevent injury. Additionally, our FLOW Studio is the best resource for prioritizing mind-body connection to draw attention to how you feel as you move through different positions, and improve your range of motion over time.


SCULPT
To enhance your Muscular Endurance, you should train your muscles to exert a force repeatedly over time. The Stack House SCULPT Studio is your best resource for workouts that use high repetitions and low resistance. After each class, you will instantly notice and feel improvement in your muscular endurance. By staying consistent, you will be able to continue the workouts in their entirety, increase your repetitions, and level up your progressions in each exercise.


POWER
To increase Muscular Strength, you must work to improve the maximum amount of force that can be exerted by your muscles. The Stack House POWER Studio is your best resource for workouts that use high resistance and low repetitions. In addition to strength, we incorporate explosive movements to improve speed. Members have access to the POWER Progress Tracker, which is a useful tool for tracking your improved strength and power.


CARDIO
Your Cardiorespiratory Endurance is the ability to perform exercises with an elevated heart rate for a long period of time. It is important that your heart and lungs can efficiently provide oxygen and fuel to the muscles and bones working while you exercise, and that you are able to adjust and recover from the effects. The Stack House CARDIO studio offers various aerobic sequences and endurance workouts that can be used in different types of cardio like running, swimming, hiking, cycling, and dance.


FUSION
The final component of fitness is your Body Composition. Your body is made up of two components – fat-free (nonfat) mass and fat mass. As you increase the percentage of muscle in your body, you will naturally decrease the amount of fat. If you track your results and progress, this can help you reflect on what works well for you. Lifestyle, wellness, and nutrition are key components that require your awareness on a daily basis. The Stack House WELLNESS Resources are meant to help members access tools to support goals in long term weight management and health.
Additionally, the Stack House FUSION Studio allows members to cross train in a variety of ways during one workout. We encourage participating in FUSION Challenges, we promote Special FUSION Class Packages, and we give you the ability to Mix & Match Workouts from our other MOVEMENT STUDIOS.
