MIKAYLA AGARD
Mikayla, the founder of Stack House Studios, was inspired to make a career in fitness and wellness after becoming a Penn State Group Fitness Instructor. This opportunity opened the door for Mikayla to receive her American Council on Exercise (ACE) Group Fitness Certificate and to gain invaluable experience teaching fitness classes on the Penn State Campus.
Mikayla has a diverse background instructing Indoor Cycling, Barbell Training, Small Group Strength Training, HIIT, Barre Fitness, Aerobics, Yoga, Pilates, and Muscular Endurance classes. She has taught at a variety of gyms and studios, to various fitness levels and age groups. In addition to her devotion to her classes, Mikayla has completed over 600 formal hours of various Teacher Training Courses including YogaSix Sculpt and Flow, Buti Yoga, Power Pilates, Barre Intensity, HIIT, and Functional Training Programs. She holds an active ACE Group Fitness Certificate, first received in 2018 and this has been renewed every two years. Mikayla loves to continue educating herself on fitness and wellness, and she recently completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training under a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School.
On top of her participation in an extensive fitness and wellness curriculum, Mikayla graduated from the Pennsylvania State University Smeal College of Business in 2022 with a degree in Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Growing up, she was on competitive cheer and dance teams, and trained at a tennis academy. Her love for yoga began in 2014 and this was the start to her fitness journey. After spending years focused on developing her professional skills, self exploration, and her personal wellness, she could not be happier with this career path. Now, she is overjoyed to have the opportunity to create a platform where she can combine her passions into a full time career, and help others live their best life!
